Grilled Romaine Steakhouse Salad

Grilled steak served atop a charred heart of romaine lettuce and topped with shaved parmesan cheese, baby portabella mushrooms, strawberries, grape tomatoes and yellow onions. Drizzled with reduced balsamic and a choice of our Litehouse® Romano Caesar or Litehouse® Chunky Blue Cheese.

Filet Procedures
1 ea 4oz Beef Filet
½ tsp Salt
½ tsp Pepper
1 tbsp Garlic Chopped

1 eaRomaine Halved and grilled
1 ozYellow Onions Diced
2 ozBaby Portobella Sliced
2 ozStrawberry Topped and halved
2 ozGrape Tomato Halved
1 ozParmesan cheese Shaved
1 tspReduced Balsamic

Directions

Filet Procedures: Rub the filet with the garlic, salt, pepper and place on grill 3 minutes per side until desired internal temperature.Romaine Procedures: Cut the romaine in half and brush vegetable oil on the cut side. Place cut side down on the grill for 1 minute or until grill marks form.
SALAD BUILD
Place the grilled romaine in center of plate, grill side up.
Spread the diced yellow onions, sliced portobella mushrooms, strawberries halved, grape tomato halved, and shaved parmesan across the grilled romaine.Drizzle the dressing across the salad base.Place the grilled filet of beef in center of the plate on top of grilled romaine.Drizzle the reduced balsamic in a zigzag motion.
