Bacon Bourbon BBQ Sauce

Bacon and bourbon blended with Litehouse® Open Flame BBQ Sauce.

Ingredients

½ cupBourbon
6 eaBrown Sugar Bacon Chopped
2 tbspGarlic
½White Onion Minced
½ cupBrown Sugar
2 tspKosher Salt
1 tspExtra Virgin Olive Oil

Directions

Take a medium sized pot and put on LOW to MEDIUM heat. Add the oil and start to render (cook) the bacon.Add the onions and garlic and cook until tender (2-3 minutes). Then deglaze the pan with the bourbon. Add the BBQ sauce and remaining ingredients and allow to simmer for 30-45 minutes. Remove from heat and blend until smooth.Cool and store in the refrigerator.
